Geothermal Power

If you’ve been to the field beside University Hall, you’ve stood above a geothermal system.

UIC’s geothermal system harnesses heat from the ground, a sustainable and essentially limitless resource, to regulate building temperatures of Grant, Lincoln, and Douglass Hall.
